Better late than never

So why, I ask myself, do I not do photo sessions of my own child?? She is THE MOST gorgeous child in the universe, I need to be taking good shots of her all the time. Here are a few I snapped during October, although I did not plan any of this. I need to make a point of getting her all ready and taking her somewhere great to do a real shoot of just her. I am doing a dis-service to the world!

The G family

This is my nephew and his sweet little family. Can you believe I m a great auntie? Last spring I had the opportunity to take pics of cute little Madi. They came to visit and this time, I got to take some of the whole family. We had a great time and were lucky because here in Utah, one day feels warm, and the next is freezing! SO we got to take some in the park of Madi, and then fall pictures the next day up East Canyon. Not too shabby considering Madi does not hold still for more than 1/2 second.....no joke!

Beautiful Girl

When my cousin Tiffany was here a few weeks ago, she took us out behind our house on a photo shoot. I shadowed her and took some of Lainey and Randy. For some reason they didn't load very clear or true to the color they are, they look alot better in photo shop. Anyway, Tiff taught me lots of great stuff and I have been playing around with editing, I am having a ball! She has inspired me to learn more and study my camera so it looks like I know what the heck I'm doing! Oh....I have so far to go! Thanks Tiff for all your help- I had a blast!

Landscapes

These are some pics I took awhile ago, but thought I would post anyway. I love taking nature shots, mostly cause they don't blink or move very much :o)

Camping and while on a hike, I caught this cool half dead tree reflecting in a pond.

This is the door to an old shed/garage in a house my dad lived in when he was a little boy. It was built by my grandfather.

Yellowstone park. I was amazed at the formations and colors of the mineral ponds. All this time, I loved this pic because i thought the rain drops were bouncing off the rock. Randy just informed me that they are not rain drops, but pine trees! Way to go Caroline.

Nate the Great!

Here is my cute brother-in-law, I can't believe he is graduating!! I swear he was just 5 years old driving me crazy. Is he really 18? Am I really this old?!?!?!?!

Madi

This is my sweet niece and I will say that 2 year olds are the hardest to shoot. Even getting over croup she was running all over the place and didn't stay still for more than 2 seconds. It was quite a challenge! She was so much fun though.

My favorite subject!

Here are just a few I have taken of Lainey. She is so much fun to take pics of.....Oh those eyes!!!!!

In the beginning.....

One of my hobbies is taking photos of everything! I really want to take some classes and become great. But in the mean time, I am having tons of fun and love to see what happens when looking through the lens. There is so much out there to capture!
